Omens and Portents for Red Sox Nation!

Hello, hello, long time no see, how are things in the group? I've
checked in from time to time to read but to be honest, life has been
keeping me too busy to spend as much time here as I once used to,
though I am still following the Red Sox as closely and avidly as I
ever was before, and have recruited several new Red Sox fan converts
in my time!

Anyway, remember when I came to Boston in 2004, promising the good
karma I'd bring with me, remember how I so badly wanted to see Nomar
at Fenway Park, only to see him traded away to the National League so
I missed him, though ultimately being "one of the fans" in that
magical season, just as promised!

Well, even though they managed to do it again last year without my
help (I'd planned to visit but it got cancelled!) I'm booked in again
to visit Boston, I've coming with friends, whose favourite player
is ... you guessed it, Manny Ramirez. I suppose that means it's quite
likely he'll be traded to the NL (Marlins seems to be the hottest
rumour out there), but that the Red SOx will go on and win the World
Series, as they always win it when I come to visit :-)

I have tickets for the Toronto series 12-14 September, plus Cleveland
on 22 and 24 Sep, oh, and the Friday night (26th) against the MFY.
Last time I came I saw the 4 game Oriole set 20-23 Sep and the MFY on
24th with Pedro's last regular season start at Fenway.

If anyone is around or wants to share a pint sometime, let me know!

Nice to hear from you. A lot less real baseball here since you
departed. I'm not around Boston, but I wish you a great visit. I do
hope to get east in early August and will take in a game at McCoy.
