And I join my Republican friends in wishing good health to Senator
Robert C. Byrd of WVa, who recently wrote (or had written for him):
"Religious faith, patriotism, family, respect for authority, hard
work, and honesty were the building blocks of our communities, our
state, and our nation. They must continue to be the building blocks
of our future. The Bible says: 'Remove not the ancient landmark,
which thy fathers have set.' (Proverbs 22:28)
"These 'old values' include our Divine duty to be good stewards of
God's creation. The Scripture tells us: 'The earth is the Lord's, and
the fullness thereof...' (Psalm 24:1) And, one of my favorite passages
reads: '[S]tand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.' (Job
37:14)"
Amen, RS brothers and sisters.
Ditto.....
Except for all the religous stuff, ditto.

Why thank you. I wish you good health also. Of course for the next 3
years we will be paying taxes on a disastrous program that will not be
dispensing its questionable "benefits" during that time.Everybody
better have good health because the worst president in history, aka
Barak Obama, is bent on destroying our medical system to advance his
Marxist programs.

That's the funny part. I guess "had written".

There is no more ancient landmark than Byrd.

Yawn.

Yes, happy new year everybody!

Don't worry too much about the religious stuff. Senator Byrd was
writing in in support of action on global warming. Good cause,
assuming the scientists are right, whether or not based on religion.
You are not very selective with allies. Byrd is a senile old fool and
a former klansman. In 2010 he may well join Teddy Kennedy in the
salvage bin of "replacement senators". I call your drunken Irishman
and raise one senile former klansman. What a distinguished group!
Global warming as a threat that can be controlled is bullshit as per
thousands of competent scientists. Feel free to hang out with the
document falsifying doctrinaire leftists out to destroy our country.
You fit in very well with them. The most accurate "Faggy" Award was
the one he gave to you. Still I wish you good health and a happy new
year. (Except I hope you are very disappointed with political results).

Thank you for your kind thoughts on my health.
I do not understand why so many right wingers think global warming is
some Liberal hoax. I do think that some environmentalists, whether
Liberal or Conservative (yes, there are some Conservatives who want to
conserve) are very pleased that Global Warming has given additional
traction to their cause. But most Liberals would be very, very happy
to learn that the threat of Global Warming is overblown or
nonexistant. We have a lot more interesting things to do with your
money than reducing carbon emissions <g>.
Ted Kennedy, despite many flaws, was a great man who did more than any
other Senator in your lifetime to promote the common good. You really
should have watched more openly the celebration of his amazing life.
Damn, he is turning into faggy. He can barely put a sentence together
with an insult or a slur. Some much for rational discourse.
The answer to your question, of course, is follow the money. The ones
with the most to lose with global warming are the big (and I mean BIG)
corporations like oil companies that will lose business to greener
solutions and the corporations that will have to spend billions cleaning
up there emissions. These groups dump tons of money into their
disinformation campaigns on Fox and other conservative shills. They
preach to the choir. The choir eats it up and pukes it back out.
Ditto...
<g>
They also drop millions into the campaign coffers of the pols...on both
sides...who of course are loathe to turn it down...or risk losing that
revenue stream. This is as true of the health care industry and big pharma
as we have seen regarding the health care legislation.
