If you think fans in Detroit did not hate Michael, you are
misinformed. Well, at least early in Michael's career, when the
Pistons instituted the Michael Rules.

Your choice for catcher is conventional, but Bench came up empty in
some big games. Keith? Get real. Morgan, Brett, and Ortiz (vintage
2004) are easy picks, and probably Rickey. In their primes, Nomar and
ARod were better picks than Jeter, and this year, Scutaro is a better
pick than Jeter. I guess you have not seem many CF and RF players <g>.

Who left in the third inning with some ailment.

Then you probably think Celtics fans, deep down, respected Bill
Lambeer.
Oh, and they were the Jordon Rules --- my weak attempt at humor.

Bench had a magnificant arm and was a great receiver. Also a good
hitter. Hernandez was a fine fielder --- bit of a hog, but still
great. Is that what you wanted in the big game --- really good
defensive guys? Then why Jeter <g>? Paul O was a whiner, unlike, say,
Clemente and Evans. Puckett was good but not HoF calibre IMHO. You
missed seeing Jr.? Clearly at his peak the best player around.
