You keep hearing the same story over and over. This is related to the
concept of the "urban legend" - the cat in the microwave, the guy who
wakes up in a tub of ice and finds out that someone took out his
kidneys... With the internet, these things take on a life of their
own.
Somebody probably got ticked off because Cal had to leave after
autographing for an hour, and that guy didn't get one, and thought,
"I'll show him!" and started this rumor.
If this story had *any* merit at all, the tabloids would be full of
it. They love to put "icons" in their place.
