What is the "baseball" that you speak of? We've never heard of it in
Pittsburgh.

But that's one team. How can you have two of the worst teams in baseball
in such proximity without a supernatural explanation?

And doing this to what was once one of the best run organizations in
baseball, too. Doubly punch-worthy.

Just another word, like "bathing" or "literacy" that you have no use
for. Move along.

Because I love baseball but am completely burned out on the networks
perpetual line-up of NY/Chicago/LA games, I watched about 80-100 Nats
games this year. They really are a team that was just fun to watch.
They've been "a couple pieces away" from being a decent team for several
years. Of course, they may always be that. But other than Nyger Morgan,
I can't think of a guy on the team that I don't like.

Get them some ptiching, they're a .500 team. I'd take that.

Angelos appears to have seen the light by bringing in Andy MacPhail and
Buck Showalter. Peter, plese, let these guys do their thing!

Easy there, Will. You're so used to dealing with fools like Maynard
that you're going way over the top with a genuinely nice guy like Victor
(Zaphod). He was just humourously pointing out that his Pirates stink.
