anyone have one of those google mail accounts? does it work with a pop3
client or is it purely web based?

I have one and barely use it...it's purely a web interface.

I've got one, and I think it is great. The threaded archiving and gobs of
space are pretty neat. Its only drawback is that it isn't pop3.

I checked both of my accounts, and I don't have an invite on either. I gave
one of my invites to my uncle and sent the other back to myself, and haven't
gotten any new ones since then.

Sorry

Mark that, I've got six invites. Send me your valid email address, and I'll
shoot you one. Everyone else is welcome to an invite if they want one.
