Good grief! What are your standards for a closer? This is the first
blown
save for Ligtenberg since May 23. He had gone 20 appearances without
giving up a run until two games ago. He's overworked and needs Saturday
off
and maybe Sunday too. He'll be fine.
> However, that was a very nice catch by Klesko. Too bad its all for not.
Klesko also did quite well against left handed pitchers.

Hmmmm...17 wins, but not 17 shutouts. Seems your math needs some work.

The guy just blew his first game since May. Three friggin' months as a
closer. Would it be so damn much to ask of you to cut the guy some slack?
Sure would be nice to be as perfect as you. Meanwhile, the rest of us will
be over here in the corner being merely human.
I hate to say it, but I just knew it, I just knew that Iwould check in
here and find some idiots ignoring three months of excellent work to lay
into Kerry. Between you and that Jolly friggin' Rogers dumbass my
prediction was annoyingly confirmed.
*sigh*

What i wonder is why the Braves announcers know that Kerry needed a night off
(rest) tonite but Bobby Cox didn't?
Seanez sure looked great in the eighth! Wish he had been left in for the ninth.

Happiness is reading a good scifi book :)
I'm sorry sir, that is a violation of MLB rules code 1.7B 0042: "A setup
man, shall pitch no more than one inning, in either inning number seven or
eight, regardless of fatigue level or pitching effectiveness"
Damn, Seanez was cookin' in the 8th. 97, 98 mph! I'm with you, just leave
him in there.
If that's not a classic quote, it should be. very funny :-)
I wanted a day off for Ligtenberg, but at the same time I didn't want to
overwork Seanez for the day. I was hoping to see Rocker for the ninth. Or
even martinez.

now i'm no expert or nothin', but i think that's "gettin' jiggy wid
it." or course, they may be the same thing for all i know...
Earlier in the year Cox said that, even though it was very tempting, they
wouldn't ever use Saenez for more than one inning because of his long
injury history. Cox said something to the effect of (paraphrasing), "Some
nights it's almost impossible to resist leaving him out there for two
or three innings, but we've got to because the guy has been hurt alot
in his career and we want him to help us for a long time." I can't say
I can complain about that policy.

the unfathomable wisdom of your writings, then those

i'm not being picky, i'm pointing out the fact that surrealism,
despite the current tendency to interpret it as a "stream of
consciousness" style of poetry, was in fact a very rigoruously defined
and identified form. to boot, it was much more than any currently
fashionalbe off-the-cuff writing, and held as it's sole aim the
destruction of power as manifested in the fascistic/authoritarian
state. as such, i'm not sure your "jiggly wid it" contains the sheer
rigour required of such a violent and discurssive project.
so there!
WOAH!!!
Yer gittin' REAL jiggly wid it!
