There was a good start for EBSA players in the Seniors event on Monday
night, with wins for Welshmen Gareth Perry and Ron Jones, Fred Looije and
Peter Bertens from Holland, Frank Schroder from Germany and last year's
runner up Eugene Hughes for Ireland.

The Under 21s start on Tuesday morning and there is a place on the 2006-7
WSA Main Professional Tour awaiting the winner.

Europe's challenge is led by Ireland's David Morris, former European Under
19 Champion Jamie Jones, Scotland's Robert Stephen, Germany's Patrick
Einsle, a strong English and Northern Ireland contingent and up and coming
players from Iceland, Holland, Belgium, Hungary.

They face a huge challenge from the Chinese stars Tian Pengfei and Liang
Wenbo and Thailand's Pramual Janthad and Kobkit Palajin, last year's
finalist.
