could not have put it better myself. guess that is why there are so many
brands and models of cars. not to mention all the colors too. it would be a

I agree that no one racquet is best for every player. However having
recently attended a meeting to look at the new Ektelon line I can say
without hesitation that Ektelon has the largest selection of racquets
with respect to skill levels, weight, shape, cost, and a number of other
variables. They also stand behind their products like no other company I
have seen!

Thanks for your input.
I have used tape successfully now for two months. The rub is that ProKennex
is selling a $200 racquet that requires tape over the gel track system.
This is not "advanced engineering." Tape alters the racquet
characteristics. It probably dampens more than the gel. It made no
difference to my game. What hurts my game is the knowledge that the head
guard may come apart at any time and that I will need to restring. Having a
second racquet would be an option. It wont be a ProKennex.
