Kevin,
I own Q-Zar Atlanta in Duluth. I changed out my equipment about 4
months ago so I have a whole bunch of the Q-Zar equipment in storage.
The biggest expense is going to be the game computer/software. After
that, you will need at least one energizer. If you are wanting to play
teams, then you will need at least two energizers. If you want to have
headquarters too, then you will need 4. After that, you just need
enough packs for the number of players you are expecting and a battery
charger. The game computer is about $1,000. Energizers are about $100
each. The battery chargers are over $1,000 new so expect to pay around
$500 used. Unless you abuse them, they really don't go bad. I have 6, 2
that were in service and 4 spare. The two that were in service were the
ones originally installed. The packs are not that expensive used, but
they are pretty expensive to repair (if you know, or can find someone to
fix them). I would be willing to part with some of my stuff, but you
would have to sign a non-compete agreement stating that you would not
use the equipment except for personal use and would never use it to open
a laser tag store or sell it to someone who would use it to open a laser
tag store. Sorry, but it's part of the agreement when I bought my new
equipment.
Kind Regards,
Craig Whisman
