Tonight on Letterman. I talked with my mom, she's agreed to extend my bedtime
by an hour so I can watch.

This was pretty silly. I mean, the kid is 7 and all, but I thought he
would do something a little more complicated. Anyone else caught the
show?

I wasn't real impressed either, but then again, he's in first grade, and I'd
probably have to have the 8 and the breaks! ;>)

I guess what he did wasn't that impressive, the impressive part of it is that
he is only 7. I remember my first time at the table in elementary school - I
couldn't even hit the cueball. He was remarkably well coordinated and didn't
appear to be a bit nervous - the silly part was David Letterman trying to do an
Art Linkletter routine with him.

I was on the phone with Mark Wilson this morning and he mentioned that the
boy was at his place recently for lessons. I asked him how he played and
Mark said he would be the equivalent to an APA 4.

I got a blank tape & everything to record this showing .. I was not
impressed @ all. Sure, he made the shots & was only 7 years old- but,
hitting the balls straight into the pocket like that isn't that hard w/
enough practice on that routine. And the last 'trick' he did he screwed up
but had sticks on the rails so the balls would go in no matter what.. I will
defiantely record over this & was a bit disapointed. There's got to be a 7
year old that can actually set up & shoot trick shots ...Most of it is all
in the setup any ways & I'm sure even that 7 year old could do some
impressive "looking" tricks if they were properly set up.
