Dallas?

Is anyone playing in the Dallas, TX area?

There appear to be a few sites here. Which ones are worth hitting?

I played at the Dallas Photon center in 1988, and briefly at the Stargate in
the West End.

There's only one Photon open now; XPLasersport in Laurel, Maryland.

There are, however, several other companies open in the Dallas area.
Personally, I recommend Laser Quest in North Richland Hills.

There are a few old timers that still play in the Dallas area. Dark
Angel played Photon in Dallas briefly and still plays most of the
major systems in the Dallas area. Roundabout still plays occasionally,
too. The both mostly play laser quest at either north richland hills
or the new one in Plano.

I played at Dallas and San Antonio and still play competitively when I
can get to something besides a flipping QZar.

For some reason, I decided to jump back into the newsgroup. I see that
you are coming out for the Tourney in April? Or am I just insane?
No comments from the peanut gallery.

A friend of mine who used to work at the NJ Photon said he's thinking
of coming down. Which means, I'll be coming out.

Would be nice to see you after all these years. Still remember those
crazy San Antonio days. ;-)

I used to play in Dallas. I'm the only old guy that still plays though.
What did you play by, or did you hang out with anyone I might remember.

Once you are on your feet again you can come play a few with us, we hit
different sites each week. Laser Quest you can find players at weekly
but there are plenty of other sites and systems to try, and usually
cheaper. Drop us a line if you would like to show up and we can give you
directions and some playing tips.

I was there during the last year. I played by "Raff". It started as a
throwaway one night: I met this guy from L.A., we teamed up as "Riff" and
"Raff" (an obscure play on Rocky Horror, what else?), and I decided I liked
the handle. Played league with the Pizza Men (hey, somebody had to be dead
last in the standings, and we saved some of you guys from a fate too
horrible to contemplate).

I'd enjoy doing it again, if only for a little while. I was in the process
of moving to Austin when I had the wreck.
