PWC problem on flush hose

My Yamaha 1100 PWC runs fine when in the water, but acts weird when it is
connected to the flush hose on dry dock. I start it without touching the
throttle and it increases in speed to a scary level. The kill button will
not stop it. The only way to kill the machine is to turn off the gas
supply. This is very irritating, anyone have any ideas on how to fix this
problem?

I'll answer my own question since nobody replied.
There was water in the gastank. Made it run lean.
