For some reason, I want to take a shot a putting together a
Dallas-Fort Worth Personal Water Craft (PWC) Club. The primary
purpose, "connecting" local PWC owners who enjoy getting together
regularly with others who share a mutual enjoyment for the sport.
Yeah, we'll on doubt sign up for a charter from the International Jet
Sports Boating Association (IJSBA) so that we can take advantage of
any benefits ISJBA can provide.

I've surfer the Net and gotten information from other PWC clubs
throughout the U.S. Theresponse will determine what sort of
activities we will do, assuming we can come up with some sort of
group. One thing I have in mind -- and this may be a stretch for
_this_ summer -- is an overnight/camping trip on the Brazos River
between Granbury (or thereabouts) and Possum Kingdom, for example. Of
course, there are limitless other possibilities. Perhaps going North
towards Texoma is an option. By the same token, there are limitations
on this initial idea, e.g., water level, campsite availability, etc.,
but with some creativity, this might be a lot of fun, and besides, it
may be the start of something. There are numerous other
possibilities, but until we get "together" in one place, nothing's
going to happen.

If you're interested, or have ideas, or both, _either_ e-mail, fax,
write or call me at one of the addresses below.

Call the IJSBA and ask for one of their club start-up kits. It's free
and it has some useful tips on how to go about making a successful
club. It will take a lot of work, but it will be worth it. Good luck.
