Pardon me for my ignorance. I am really new in jet skiing!

I'm really interested to know the mechanics of how a jet ski works! Would
be happy to receive information from any of you here!

Best regards

Exactly how technical would you like it to be???

Basically, you have a 2-stroke motor which is connected to an
impeller which draws water into the pump which forces the water
out the back of the boat... Jet propulsion basically. And
manuevering the craft is accomplished by directing the thrust
rather than using a rudder. In other words, no thrust = no
steering control.

Is that basically what you were after or do you need something
more technical?

Essentially a jet ski is a mini jet boat. There is an inboard motor
(2 stroke twin or triple in most cases), which drives a jet pump.

The jet pump sucks in water from under the hull, pressurizes it, and
shoots it out at the back of the hull.

Steering is accomplished by directing the flow of water from the
exit nozzle of the jet pump.
