Check out the HP parts at www.scootersports.com
I own a modified Viza Viper. HP carb/stack, expansion chamber (pipe),
high compression, 107 octane racing gas ($4 per gallon), advanced timing,
tall gearing (top end speed), billet deck/wheels, and 3" wide air filled
slicks. I weigh 195lbs and have been clocked on a slight uphill at 30mph.
I have ridden a Go-Ped Sport and Liquamatic.
If you want to use the Motorized Scooter for transportation go Viza. If you
want to jump and do tricks go Go-Ped. The Sport has a bazillion accessories
for it. The Viza has a lot less. The Viza is a much smoother ride. My Viper
did 18mph stock, 20 with stock carb and pipe, 25mph with HP carb/stack/pipe,
30mph with compression increase (base gasket removal and plug ring
removal), racing gas, and advanced
timing.
I have only had one failure. The transmission shaft that connects the chain
to the rear wheel snapped off at the sprocket last weekend. Upon close
examination of the part it was obvious there was a quality control slip up.
The key slot was milled to far in and the sprocket lock screw hole was
tapped way to deep. Viza has had a few break and has a new shaft that is
made of a harder RC material. The newer 2000-1/2 model Viza's are now
shipping with a larger diameter shaft. I have both on the way. Since my
Scooter is putting out twice the stock motors 1.7hp we will see how they
hold up. The people at Extreme Toys, Scooter Sports, and Viza Motors have
all been VERY responsive in helping my correct the problem.
The only two things that suck on the Viza's are the poll latch
(folded position comes lose with no weight on the bar), and the rear tube is
next to impossible to get air in without a Mountain Bike shock pump or
Viza's special pump ($7).
I still think Viza is a great Scooter for getting from point A to B in a
hurry. The Viza is just to big for tricks and stuff. It is fast and smooth.
I can corner mine with the Slicks at 25mph leaned over all the way (45
degrees or better) without sliding out the rear end. The Go-Peds narrow hard
rubber will slip doing this.
Just to let you know I am planning on buying a Sport and keeping the Viper.
It is simply a case of getting the right tool for the right job. Viza for
smooth, FAST, comfortable transport. The Go-Ped for tricks and jumping. I
want both.

Before you buy.
Viza is made in Korea.A Viza will break if jumped off of curbs.Says so in
the owners manual. They are good if you just cruise and don't thrash it.They
also accelerate very slowly.Even with performance upgrades. They also cost
alot more than a Go-ped.But they do look good with the slicks installed.Just
buy the scooter that you like the best. I have owned a Viza,Mosquito and a
Go-ped.I just like the Go-ped more.Alot more after market parts available
for the Go-peds.
