Salutations:

I seem to one of the first folks in eastern Canada to run a Go-Ped to work
(GSR40).

At this point my GoPed doesn't seem to fall under any particular
provision. This leaves the door open for all kinds of trouble depending on
how someone defines a motor scooter.

I am looking for a list of places where Go-Peds *are* street legal so I
can print up some legislation to bring to my local government people.

Any leads anyone?

Ok Dexter J John is right California Is Scooter friendly ! If you go
to the DMV site or the clif. gov site you can download the Scooter
laws. However to summarize 16 years of age , learners permit, helmet
required, stick to the bicycle lanes, max 25 mph driving speed, no
modifications of scooter past stock for noise reasons,
dosent really apply to electric scooters so much, obey all traffic
laws, including no driving while intoxicated, lol !!! You know the
drill common sence applys here !
So there ya go that is most of what I know for the most part ! I drive
Gas and electric on the streets and pardon the pun but they are a real
"Gas" to drive on the streets with the Cars and motorcycles and
bicycles out with you all competing for the same tarmac. Best of luck
to you be safe and always remember the golden rule of Scooting "The
Car is always Right" !!! Lol later gator take it slow and
easy......Ped Racer D
