Hi,
I have a Liquimatic goped...and the fuel lines were so old they broke
off at the fuel tank. I was expecting to see some barb at the tank
side, but the design seems pretty stupid where the tubes are forced
into the tank to create a seal.

Is there a way to replace the fuel lines and still use my old tank?
Anyone know how? New tanks are like $40 shipped...when mine is
perfectly fine if I get some new hoses to connect. How would you hold
the fuel filter inside while pushing the hose from the outside?

Also, what type of hose would I use? Will the RC silicon extra large
hose work?
Thanks!!

Hey Joe well on the fuel line subject I always use gopeds fuel line.
However who makes it Im not sure just take around your old stuff and
find a match. do not use line that is not compatable with fuel
though ! The fuel lines with a smaller hollow tube fastner is in one
line and the fuel filter in the other check on which way they came
out. You need to draw them twords the bottom of the tank thru the tank
fuel cap area to install. You have to push the tubes twords the cap
area the de-install ! So there ya go buckaroo good luck tell me how it
turned out !!!.....Ped Racer D

Thanks Ped Racer!

I did some more research. Silicone fuel line used for RC is a NO for
gasoline. Most RC shops do carry yellow Dubro Tygon in 1/8" ID
diameter though. Tygon is for gasoline engines. I even saw the word
Tygon on the yellow fuel line used for weedwackers and such at home
depot. The dubro tyogon does the trick, It's 1/4" on the outside,
which fits snugly into the tank. I fed the piece from the outside in,
grabbing the line inside the tank and putting the connector/fuel
filter piece, and pulling back down. I put some oil around the fuel
line so it will pull easier through the tank. I haven't tried it yet,
but seems snug. I bet it's the same stuff as the goped fuel line, it
was just easier to buy 2 ft for $3 locally then mail order the other
stuff.

I gotta get me some oil...and fire this bad boy up...hopefully all
runs good! Once it does then I need to order up a few goped parts.
I'm missing a front brake.
