It doesn't apply to Hoverboards either. Hahahahaha!
I can't find any reference on these pages to support your position. (Not
that it's not there somewhere.)
Can you give me a more precise URL?

Flattery has nothing to do with it. The fact is that they are required by
law to try to defend their registered trademark wherever feasible or risk
having it become public domain. You obviously have never owned one nor do
you seem to know anything about trademark law.
Abraham Lincoln reportedly said, "It's better to keep your mouth shut and
be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt." It's good
advice.

Hey Pedracer,
This guy's obviously from that CARB agency, trying to stop what it is we all
love so much, and know is good for our planet.
If CARB was any good at protecting the environment it wouldn't have required
MTBE, a refinery toxic waste by-product, into the gas supply that is poisoning
the water supply in CA. The REAL poluters, big oil, payed them off so they
wouldn't have to dispose of that stuff in a very expensive way. Corruption
trying to stop gopedding freedoms will be a big mistake.
Gopedding is not a crime.

That's not acceptable.
Never ever let a public servant who recieves a pay check from your traxes talk
down to you.
It's time we demand more excellence and better service from our public
servants.
Thank you Ped Racer D.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK !
Hey I'm curious , has Patmont Mtr. Werks ever gone in front of the CA.
EPA to certify the GO PED(R) engine ? They said if you pick one they
certified the process is at a no cost basis to the manufacturer,(that is
minus your internal co. costs, staff, lawyers, office supplies, ect.)
well any way that was what I was told !......................Ped Racer D
It has an ingenious intake system with a two barrel carb!! One is raw air and
the other is mixed with fuel. It uses technology that burns off all the fuel,
transfering it into horsepower, rather than blowing off into the exhaust. I'm
sure people will figure out to modify them.
Tim
Legal to sell... illegal to prevent their sale even if you're a runaway
fascistic buraoucracy that does not give "due process", or fails to inform an
industry it's regulations will affect, as required of them by "democratic" law.

PedracerD, You just hit the nail on the head.
Their first try to kill Go-ped with the Calif. Motorized Scooter law they
sponsored with Senator Chesbro backfired big time against them, so now they're
using corrupt CARB officials who'll do anything for a buck, or free ZAP shares
they wanna pump up.
WE DON"T GIVE A DAMN WHAT ANYBODY THINKS, WE"RE NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE!
Your theory does not hold up however, when you consider that the Zappy
products have been equally prohibited with these new enforcements. It's the
"scooter" status, not the gas v electric that is being prohibited.

This is somewhat like when smoking in bars was banned, it was a year or so
before serious enforcement began. All the bar owners that vowed to fight
were eventually cowed in the face of ever expanding fines after multiple
violations.
