Unless you can weld and can fabricate your own scooter and modify the motor and
mounts to work with a scooter you'll be better off purchasing a sport goped new
or used. I've got a friend who made his own goped and he fabricated everything
and it came to nearly $600 and well over 20 hours of work into it. Better off
searching ebay to find a well priced used one, just make sure it's go-ped
brand!

In article <20000806033543...@ng-fb1.aol.com>,

I am making my own goped, not because I am stripped for cash, but
because I broke friends goped when I was just playing around with it.
I decided that it was not for me, and that I needed some serious
machine for doing tricks. (Ive always been the type that pushes the
envolope) I am using a Prestilite Wico engine that slightly differs
from the Zenoah engine. It injects the fuel into the crankcase, which
I personally think is the best way because the whole engine is
lubericated that way. Anyway it is a 32cc engine, and it should fly!
The frame I am using is constructed by 2 4160 Chromo 1 inch tubes that
have a weight bearing capacity of over 500 pounds. When I get a
digital camera I will post pictures.
