Gang,

SUPER STOCK SPECTACULAR

Just a reminder. If you are East of the Mississippi you should not miss
this. Over 30 cars committed so far, not counting a 4 car A/GS match race
and the BELLE DODGE 1965 AWB car ...

Come out to THE alternative drag meet of 1999. While big crowds will be
heading for Maple Grove's Keystone Nationals and reserved seats, high ticket
prices, jammed roads, track clean-up crews, cookie cutter cars and balled up
T-shirts being flung at them... the hip among us will be heading for the one
day outlaw nostalgia S/S-F/X Spectacular at Atco, NJ.

Word has it there may be an original '68 Hemi Dart on display also. Many
4-speed cars and of course automatic cars to challenge them. The original AWB
version of the 1965 Plymouth, Pee Wee Wallace's "VIRGINIAN" will be in
competition... The promise of a group of Southern N/SS cars including a Z-11
motored '62 Chevy bubbletop from NC, a gaggle of other '62 409's, some
Thunderbolt replicas, a Dyno Don Comet replica, big Pontiacs, a ton of Mopars,
wedges and hemis including Jerry Stein and his Teacher's Pet Plymouth,
Maverick's '63 Dodge S/SA, Bob Harrop's '64 Dodge, Jack Werst's new 9 second,
Ray Barton motored '65 Plymouth and none other than MANDRA's hottest man on the
tree of late...Anxious Jack Olcott in his Iron Peddler '64 Plymouth along with
his NYC attitude, Jack is the former hot car tech man from the infamous NY
National Speedway.

Also the gas-f/x list gasser boys from the NETO circuit... Rocky Pirrone in his
Willys, Tiny Eglit in his '55 Chevy, Bryan Hanofee in his Willys and another
coupe putting on a special match race with the big bad blown cars as a special
tribute and memorial to Rocky's father, who was one of the east's gasser greats
in his Boss Hydro cars.

Plus... the blown nitro hemi S/FX-1 AWB '65 Dodge of Brian Kohlmann all the way
from Wisconsin in his aluminized fire suit running exhibition (and/or a
challenge race?)... possibly with rosin burnouts to boot.(thanks: RADIR WHEELS,
RACE CAR CAFE', Assoc. Mopars, Mancini Mopar and a few other individuals)
