The Red Jack is a great place to play darts. They also have a team in the
SF Darts League. In general, the league home bars are the best places to
play, most of the other places are poorly lit and the boards a have seen
better days. Your gag board is just worn out. :)
If a board is "taken," ask if you can get a game. Here's my last effort
list of dart bars in San Francisco. Some are better than others and most
have well-lit boards suitable for serious play. Mid-week, there may be
home
games on league nights. If you want to join a team, the league is just
starting a new season. We have divisions for any skill level from beginner
on up. You'll need to buy your own darts though. :)
