I agree 100%.... I bowled 13 games alone in a house last month in an
hour and a three quarters or so which had very little or no air
conditioning... that was enough exercise for the day! The recreational
bowlers next to me were afraid I was getting a heart attack since I was
sweating so much... :)
From bowling a couple times a week over the last couple of legs, I have
actually toned my legs... I dont do leg exercises, or exercise regularly
for that matter, but bowling alone has added muscle definition to my
legs... therefore, you MUST get some sort of "exercise-like" benefits
from bowling.
Bowling *is* a workout, "intensified" if you are bowling 1 on 1, or by
yourself. For those bowlers in my leagues, they add more calories than
they lose from all the beer.... if you were to use the empty bottles of
beer from my league(s) as pins, you'd have enough for at least a
half-dozen racks! :)

Try bowling an 8 game set with only two bowlers per lane and tell me bowling is
Last couple of LEGS? I meant YEARS!
Ugh, remind me NOT to write posts when I am half asleep. :)
