Ah, must be next week. No hope on the pba.com site, and nothing about it
on espn.com.. Searching espn's TV listings, I see that sunday afternoon on
the 27th has lpba matches on ESPN classic. Hmm... but with LPBA bowling
*all*day* on ESPN classic, there's still no tournament obviously on the
schedule for that evening... Anyone know when the LPBA event [was it the
UP Open?] is going to be aired? And anyone have any idea why it is
apparently *zero* publicized?

Hmm... is my browser broken? I put my cursor on 'schedule' and nothing at
all happens [from what you said it sounds like there should be some sort of
drop-down or something]. If I click on it I just get [last season's] PBA
schedule
Aha.. I had to do a 'view source' on the main page to try to find the menu
entry you mentioned. For some reason I don't get a drop-down on the main
PBA.COM page, but, if i click over to the 'schedule' page (where all I get
is last season's PBA schedule), *then* "schedule" has a drop with the "on
TV" info. I wonder why the dropdown doesn't work for me on the main page.
In any event, that didn't help me: I'm pretty sure the women's event was
going to be aired on ESPN2 and it isn't listed there. Anyone remember when
that tournament is going to be aired?

Ah, you remembered the name of the tournament...:o) That was what I
couldn't remember [and couldn't pick up a thread to from the PBA site]. A
quick trip to bowl.com and I find:
The finals of the event will be televised live from Skore Lanes
Taylor, Mich., by ESPN2 on April 30 at 7 p.m. Eastern.
So now I know! :o) And I'm glad I checked: I was *sure* [but obviously
mistaken..:o)] that the finals were going to be on a Sunday, but 30 April
is Wednesday of next week. Thanks!!
