Anyone know What ever happened to:

1. Jim Pencak
2. Mats Karlson (<=== Spelling Butchered)
3. Tom Crites
4. Bob Handley

I bowled with nos 1,3-4 and have the habit of pushing my glasses up like
number 2 (or so I have been told)

Jim Pencak, last I heard, was an AMF Capital Equipment salesman in Ohio.

Bob Handley works for a bowling equipment distributor in the Southeast.

Tom Crites is married and I believe his family has a bowling center. I see
him and his wife each year at the BPAA trade show.

Mats ?? I imagine he's back in Sweden?

I always wonder what happened to Tony Westlake and Marc McDowell.

Tony Westlake works for and/or runs Oklahoma Bowling Supply. Marc McDowell
owns a small bowling center outside of Madison Wisconsin. Go Badgers!!

Don't know about Tony, but Marc operates a bowling center in Wisconsin. Not
sure of the city, but it may be Madison.

In August I was in Helsinki, and of course couldn't sleep. Turned on
Eurosport about one AM and following the Sumo show (Eurosport???) they
showed the finals of the European Cup Championships. Mats Karlson was the
special tournament guest and sometime color analyst. His protege was
bowling in the finals--didn't win however. Therefore I assume he is
coaching/teaching in Sweden. From the conversation he is clearly still a
local sports hero as the only
European to win on the PBA tour.

By the way I don't think the other guys are ready for Norm and Walter Ray,
unless the condition was the worst I have ever seen--- which is possible.

Tony works for Bowling and Billiards Supply of Dallas-- his office is located
in Oklahoma City

I think Pencak is related to one of my league teammates somehow, but I
forget how. Saw Bob Handley at the World Team Challenge in Winter Haven,
FL a couple of weeks ago.

Bob Handley is alive and well in Orlando. He works for Colonial Bowling
Supply. He still bowls in some PBA regionals and WTC events.
