Hi,
Can anyone inform me of the differences between these two AirArms models.
OK - I know that the s410 is newer, I am thinking in terms of tech specs.

hello,i think you will find a few differences between the two models such as
the fireing pot is a two piece construct in the 410 and one piece in the 310
and the barrel support is again different and at the end of the air chamber
in the 410 and the stock is obviously different with a built in pressure
gauge in the 410 but the rest of it is the same, the performance is the same
ie they can both put pellet ontop of pellet in the right hands at 40yards.
if you want the latest look go for the 410 if you want the same accuracy go
for the 310 and its cheaper you can still find some new ones in gun shops
but plenty of second hand ones available.
if you want a thumhole stock go for the 410 as AirArms dont make them for
the 310 any more.

Thanks Julie,
I already have a thumbhole walnut S310, bought new about 2 and a half years ago.
I then changed jobs and never got the chance to use it. I bought the mags this
month and seen the new S410 and wondered what the differences were. Doesn't
sound like there is any real driver for me to upgrade in the light of your
information.
