Perhaps the barrels are a little slim, perhaps the design is a bit long in
the tooth, perhaps they "ting !" a bit ( which can be easily fixed ).
But, they are still superb rifles with an excellent pedigree.
Another thing worthy of consideration is the backup service operated by Falcon
themselves, Falcon treat you like the valued customer you are. On the occasions
I have had to get in touch they have been just great. Once or twice I was
fortunate
enough to talk to John Cooper who is a genuine gentleman.
Actually, I often feel regret about selling them both. I'd love to get my old
FN19 back again. It went shot for shot with my S310 ( after I got the S310
sorted ).
If you get the chance of one check for loose/worn bolts, loose front barrel
support, ill fitting stocks with worn fixing bolts and damaged O ring on the
pellet
probe ( a sign its maybe been Robb'ised ). It should be easy to cock the bolt at
12ftlbs
avoid one that seems too stiff, again it might have been Robb'ised.
I cannot comment on their later models as I have never owned or shot one. I
cannot
suggest reading a review either as I have never read an unbiased review myself.
Best to try the gun yourself before committing to buy.
Good luck !
