Does anyone have any hands on experience with Gamo's
CF-30? I'm looking for a reliable, accurate .22 airgun with a
good trigger for dispatching rabbits (also some casual target shooting).
Sadly, my budget is limited to $200.00. As soon as I can free up a
little cash I'l be topping it with a scope but for the time being, iron
sights will have to suffice.

Is the CF-30 a good choice in my price range or should I be
considering other rifles?

Regards,
Marcel

In that price range, the RWS 34 and the BSA supersport are
also worthy of consideration. The only European fixed barrel
gun I can think of in your range is the Gamo, or a refurbished
RWS48 for a little more money. One thing to remember is if you
are buying a Gamo in the USA, you can't get ANY parts, so all
repairs would have to be madeby Gamo.
You can see a review of the older but similar CF-20 here:

I have a Gamo pistol (P-23) and a RWS 34 and think the Gamo is OK and the
RWS precision wonderful.
I strongly recommend the RWS. They can be had for you money as factory
refurb with full lifetime guarantee from airgunexpress.com (where I got
mine!)
