oh, btw, about can you obe in a dream....
I think you can most definately 'travel' in a dream....
and so, in my mind, i don't see why you cannot
obe during dreaming.
I also believe that one can travel 'into' a dream...
:o)

I think that it's even easier to have a OBE while sleeping. That's the
moment the body relaxes the most, and the bonds that bind the soul to the
body are more loose. So, you can OBE while sleeping.

About the dream, I believe that it's more common than we imagine. Since
the soul does not need the body, and in most cases does not need the rest
either, I believe that most of the times you sleep your soul leaves the
body, to keep working, learning or doing whatever interests it, while the
body rests. There will still be a linkage to the body, that some mediuns can
see, described as a silver chord connecting soul and body.
While outside the body, the impressions and memories are being received
by the soul, directly. When it comes back, for us to remember, these have to
pass through our physical organs, much more primitive than the elaborate
structure of the soul. Then, some of the information is lost for the
physical sense, even though the message is kept instinctively. (It's still
saved intact, though, in the soul memory.) That's why the dreams sometimes
seem so confused: we remember only parts of what happened, and some messages
are translated by images, not always with sense.

Yup..I agree. OOO what you said has brought back many memories : ).

My dad always explained this cord from body to soul, I did not understand it
as a child. I do now that you have explained it. I always thought it was a
funnel : ).

I always wondered if I had an out of body experience. But it makes sense..of
course I have. I have been to England manyyy times for whatever reason..but
the time changes and I am being prosecuted for everything like being
rebellious all the way up to my religous beliefs, and so on(definately past
life possibilty here). I am also visiting Texas (where I lived for a year)
and back to Massachusetts (where I come from ). I also redo the trip from
Texas to South Africa and somehow I miss the flights or dont have my ticket.
I do not realize I can just pick my spirit butt up and fly myself. LOL.
Flying in my dreams are fantastic. I can flee from danger or just enjoy my
freedom in the sky. Which would explain why an anxiety proned person like me
love to fly in planes.

Hi Keith!

Cartoons definitely count. I actually find something like cartoons harder
than just about anything else because you have to take the same image and
not only replicate it again and again but transform emotion or movement onto
it as well! At my Art School last week I watched another artist do Japanese
twig and ink painting for the first time and it was truly amazing - so I am
sure you could do it too. After all you have done it before (in another
place and time).........
