I often find your posts too edgy for comfort, and sometimes I wonder
what you're all about--is this guy some psychotic rapist, or what?
Your recent post to Sspark, for example, was downright frightening.
You're like the poor, lonely rabid pit bull, and while I sincerely
sympathize with the poor, lonely rabid pit bull, I'm not going to try
and get close.
I know someone with a personality disorder, and you remind me a lot of
him. He needs sympathy and friendship as much as everyone else, and
suffers terribly because people dislike and avoid him. Yet at the same
time he constantly behaves in such as way as to ensure that they
continue to dislike and avoid him. He says extreme, shocking things,
and he thinks he means them at the time, but he doesn't really. It
gets him into trouble--I've seen him walking around with a shiner more
times than I care to remember. He seems to be missing some essential
"human interaction" gene that safeguards the rest of us.
In short, Rufus, get help. I know that sounds like an insult, but it's
really not--no more than if you suffered a bump on the head and went
around acting strangely, and your friends noticed it and suggested you
see a doctor. You don't seem to realize you're behaving oddly, so I'm
telling you. Get that bump looked at.

I do understand why Rose would find suggestions of suicide
distasteful. However, I intepreted Courtney's post as dark humor, rather than a
sincere suggestion of violence. Rufus started this ludicrous thread and his
heartwrenching claims of abuse. In view of his own illustrious posting history
(including his newest sock), his maudlin whining is totally ridiculous and
invites extreme reaction.

My word. This is one odd newsgroup. You say you don't flame and you say you
moderate for content yet you let this go through. Laserlynx forgets she has
had her moments in the sun with histrionic outbursts and yet she pokes others.
Rufus is weird...no doubt...but wishing suicide on someone is low. Perhaps
wishing him a power outtage might be better.
Dark humor it might be but I'm with the one who shivered when he said he didn't
want to cross Laserlynx.
Think I'll wait to post more until we decide who is allowed to live.
