Hi, ALL,
My question is described at http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/141080/dual-boot-solaris-and-linux.

Basically, I'd like to dual-boot Solaris 11.1 and Gentoo Linux from Solaris GRUB2 bootloader thru the chainload.

I added the custom.cfg file to /rpool/boot/grub, but nothing happened.

The disk is using GPT partitioning scheme (label).

Thank you for any pointers.

Since I don't have yahoo account but do have gmail one I decided to post here instead of yahoo group as suggested in stackexchange thread.

Does bootadm list-menu show your Gentoo entry?
