The axial tilt on 6-29-08 was 53 degrees. On 8-3-08 it was 61 degrees.
It is 6 weeks past summer solstice and the axis tilt should be declining
as the northern hemisphere tips further away from the Sun, instead it is
increasing -- which means the axis tilt is continuing to shift.

At the current rate of rotational axial shift, Earth's northern axis should
become 90 degrees to the Sun in 18 WEEKS on December 7th.

When Earth's rotational axis becomes 90 degrees toward the Sun, Earth's
rotation will stop -- Earth's 'magnetic sphere' will be over taken by the
Sun. Earth will be pulled toward the Sun.

So *that*s what it was all about when someone asked me
yesterday what two planets are currently close to
the moon. Geez, just because you work in the astronomy
department, some people assume you know EVERYTHING.
