I am going to be replacing the solar panels at a remote radio site
with some 130-watt Sharp panels. I have a Morningstar Prostar 30M
controller, but will need to replace as the 4 new panels will exceed
the 30 amp current limit of the controller.

Is there a controller (45 amp or higher) that has built-in data
logging? I would like to go to the site every 4-6 months and pull
stats out of the controller via a serial or USB or Ethernet connection
(voltage/current stats).

Any controller that comes to mind?

Thanks in advance

Just some more detail on my requirements:

- Load current is 15-amps max
- Data logging needs to be on-board as I have no remote communications
access. I would "pull" the data by connecting a computer on-site and
retrieve data that way.
- It would be nice to have one full year of data logging storage
- Mainly looking for a daily maximum and minimum voltage and maximum
charge current

I second the Outback recommendation. It's an expensive controller, but
it includes MPPT. You might also consider this

controller of your choice.

Yes, or you might consider that the PL60 plus modem allows you to
access regulator data by phone to your computer.
