Where are the tools?

I used to use Corel Draw many years ago, and got wonderful use out of
it. A few years ago, I upgraded to Corel Draw 9, but I've never gotten
much use out of it. I was forced to use Visio at work, so the Corel
skills didn't get maintained.

Now I'm trying to use CD9 again, and I'm completely flummoxed. I can
draw boxes and circles, but how the heck to I draw a _LINE_??? <!>

I think perhaps some of my toolbar tools are missing. The help file
refers to a "Curve Flyout." I'm not seeing any such flyout.

Help!
