My Avantgo premium service expired three days ago. I did not receive
any offers of renewal, so I did not even realize that there was a
problem. And there was a problem: my Avantgo channels became utterly
empty of content.

I reduced my channel usage and now Avantgo is working for me again.
But I would still like to renew my premium subscription, and restore
the channels that I removed today.

On AvantGo's web pile, I cannot find a way to renew. In fact, I cannot
find a way to contact Avantgo at all.

Anyone know what is going on?

The end may not have officially arrived, but it's coming. When I synced
AvantGo today, the front page contained the following notice:

"Starting June 30,AvantGo will no longer offer mobile web content.
Subscribers will not be able to sync their AvantGo accounts or update
channels. Please consider using other services such as the Snac mobile
widget application."

I still love my Palm Tungsten C. And for many years I have
appreciated the Avantgo services. But, now where can I go for a
similar service?

Any suggestions would be truly appreciated.
Many thanks

Hello,

I am also an old AnvatGo user since 1998 or 1999. It is a good service,
and new devices can't replace Off Line Web acess. For personnal medical
Safety reason, I can't use mobile with "free air" internet connection.

So, I have try to find alternatives solutions to have an alternative for
AvantGo services.

I have find 2. The first seems to be the best, and the closest. The
second, is just "e-book". I have download Aladino for Palm, I need now
to test and install it.

Just look here :
<http://www.en.aladdino.com/en/asp/launch.asp?p_center=affilie%2Easp%3F>

<http://www.mobipocket.com/en/DownloadSoft/ProductDetailsReader.asp>
<http://www.mobipocket.com/en/DownloadSoft/default.asp?Language=EN>
<http://www.mobipocket.com/en/HomePage/default.asp?Language=EN>

Hope that this can help you. You can reply to tell us what do you think
of my 2 links that I need to test.

Best regards.
