So far I have only found the Alphanet Cafe on Queen Street, and of
course Chill Out on Heathcoat Street.
Please can anyone tell me the details of any more. I need at least:
The name
Address, preferably with postcode for the map link
Phone number
Thanks,
James.

Oh well, if that's how we're playing. My house - one terminal. And I make
better coffee than either of you two.

Is that coffee and a KitKat or coffee and some Kitty Cat?
Only one terminal here & that's me ?B^)
No I did *not* mention food. And I'm *not* getting the chip pan out at this
time of night!
Dawn
Shut up about biscuits!!!
Dawn (who's starting to feel the effects of Lent...)
If it comes out of a tin or pouch im there...No tuna fish though! YUK
You could tickle my tum when ive finished my kitty kat!
I see that you've reworked the Chillout site, James. It's a bold design and
an improvement on the old site, but I'm afraid it doesn't shout *upmarket*.
What it lacks is a cohesive style, like the others have. Can't you get your
photographer chum to do some nice stylish images for it?
But am I allowed to ask about chocolate? coz I'm just about to endulge
myself with a nice chocolatie mars bar...
:-)

La, la, la. Can't hear you.

Eugh. If you knew what you looked like when you do that, you wouldn't do it.
> (showwy for schpittinh ovah yoo)
S'alright. Better than spitting at me, I suppose...
Dawn (who thinks you're a rotten git, incidentally)
Have you heard of that new breed of cats that like's spotted dick... I think
they're called puddy cats
<sets up webcam to record whole marsbar going in from side to side just

oh, yes... you're right. Bugger!

Well it's either that or I've grown one hell of a mole on my cheek...

I have photos like that .....

I never assumed you were one of those hacker type chicks!
Ummm.... you didn't see anything else you weren't suppose to, did you?

What will you give me to keep schtum?
Dawn
Piss off!
Do your own dirty work.
Would you supply the name and address and postcode and phone number of
that babe that works at your cafe???
No!...You wont.
How are the lolly ice sticks holding up to the caffeine BTW.
/me thinks about the lent thing...
No mars bars?
STM
(well, ok a box of 48 mars bars as soon as this lent crap is over?)
How about getting it out this morning??? I'll pop over after the
visit to the dentist........Ouch

Where do we go from here ;-?
What me with a woman with her hands down my throat???
Christ Rob, that's bigger than James's setup.
Bet you dont supply lolly ice sticks to stir your coffee with though.
Or have attractive females around with skimpy skirts, ample cleavage,
who flash their legs around (In the kenny Everet, "all in the best
possible taste" style)
I might pop around though, even if its just to check Ann out.
Are we allowed to smoke around your pad?
We are organising a party where we will be taking the photos, so until thats
happened the site will not be finished. I am trying to get certain sections
done though in the meantime.
Surely there are some other cyber cafes in Nottingham? Do Debenhams have
one? Are there any other independently owned ones?
I really need phone numbers so I can ring them and get all the information I
need. I had a number for Surf Shak but there doesnt ever seem to be an
answer. Do you know their opening times?
If you are that bothered why don't you go & find out for yourself
(that means actually making an effort, which I know is very hard for
you).
Yes I do know & if you can't be bothered why should anybody else tell
you...
Not offhand, but I should be going that way early next week so I'll have a
look for you.
Dawn
> I am trying to compile a list of all cyber cafes in Nottingham at
Thats up to you to decide, but as I said I was hoping to make a list of all
cyber cafes in Nottingham. Obviously that isnt for my own benefit.
You sure???????????
For all we know you could be just trawling the opposition, let's face
it you have nothing in common with most of them & as you've already
found out some of the regulars on here have better equipped systems in
their own homes...
Errrrm! Emmanuel House?
#6 LAN, ADSL connected PCs, so I have been told.
Tea and coffee is still only 25p per mug.
Real spoons (No lolly ice sticks)
Dont know the Telephone #No though, or the post code.
You should be able to find that one out easy enough, as its just
around the corner from you.
I am told it is also an official UK-Online centre.
A bit out of your League I expect.
Oh! I was also told you cant smoke dope on the premises though.
Why are you going to the competition?!

http://www.chilloutnottingham.co.uk
What do you mean "trawling the competition"?
The page I am doing is a guide to internet cafes in Nottingham. I'm
confident that we offer the best service, and I am very happy for customers
to make their own minds up which one to choose.

Would I do that to you, honey? I walk past it on my way to town sometimes.

Decided not to add the Beeston one?
I am going to add it. Give me a chance! Are there any more to put on while I am
at it?

How the freaking hell can you even *think* you offer the best
services, with only 2 computers on the premises???
Bath bombs and incense sticks, and candles and oxygen wont keep you
afloat you know.
You could always make a raft from the lolly sticks I suppose.
We have three computers, and given the size of our cafe its quite sufficient. We
are going to offer printing from next week too :-)
I saw that Epson printer in Dixons as well but decided to get it from Scan
instead as they do a three month no quibble money back guarantee even for
things that have nothing wrong with them
http://web6.scan.co.uk/Products/Info.asp?WPID=28753
Interesting way to advertise "Scan" whoever they are, but we have a HP printer.
We did not get it from Dixons.
Pot calling kettle, Jimmy???
Your a fine one to talk with you posting your 'spam' sig block at
every opportunity!!!

Here I go again.....
So you cant be offering the best service then can you. Not with 3 PCs.
You are in an area that is quite busy. All internet cafes I see on my
Leicester visits are crowded, Some have 30+ machines. *AND* there is
stiff competition further down the same road, and they are just as
crowded.
You would be better off providing more computers, charging for
Internet use, and giving the coffee away.
With real spoons provided...preferably.
Which...to be realistic would mean moving to larger Premises.

Why is it spam?

Scan do the cheapest deal on HP stuff as well
HP Deskjet 3325
http://web6.scan.co.uk/Products/Info.asp?WPID=43624
If you've bought it from Comet or PC World you'll have
paid at least a fiver more for it.
How much do you charge for an A4 colour photo?
Do you use genuine inks or those you get from third party suppliers?
The genuine ones are more expensive but the prints last longer and don't
fade.
I still dont know why you are advertising Scan or whatever they are called. We
havent bought it from Comet or PC World either!
We do use genuine ink, even though they are a rip off. Come in if you want to
know our prices.
We are going to put more computers in, but at the moment three are adequate.
I hardly think highlighting a company that I have bought things from is spam
as I don't have any other connection with the company.
> We havent bought it from Comet or PC
> World either!
OK so where did you buy it from? Was the prices as good as Scans?
> We do use genuine ink, even though
> they are a rip off.
They are a rip off but the prints are better
Do you do laser printing? Do you do photo copying?
> Come in if you want
> to know our prices.
Are the prices a secret or something? Why not just say how much you charge?

If my reference to Scan is spam what's all this lot?
> OK so where did you buy it from? Was the prices

Little Jimmy probably got his printer at a knock down price or should I say
knock off price from a certain ale establishment in town.
I doubt scan's price can beat that!

I'll bet a squid that little Jimmy won't be doing any printing, scanning or
photocopying. Jimmy just likes to tell everyone ad nauseum that he's doing
things. I can think of dozens of things Jimmy has claimed he's going to do
but the only follow through he ever manages is in his C&A Y-fronts.
> > Come in if you want
> > to know our prices.
>
> Are the prices a secret or something? Why not just say how much you

Jimmy can't say because he doesn't have a clue. I would take him up on his
offer just so as you can report back here that his printing idea was a load
of crap.
If you're interested in sexual appliances for homos Jimmy's your man. Wahey!
Jimmy's your man!

Jimmy's sig? You will notice that little Jimmy deliberately posts one liners
just so he can spam everywhere with his sig.
Competition for what?
Just because you have two computers and a kettle doesn't automatically mean
thay you also have a cyber cafe.
You'll be comparing yourself to Stelios Haji-Ioannou's cyber cafes chain
next http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/883957.stm
A cyber cafe with loads of computers versus a pokey dump with two computers
and a kettle?
Tough choice I know but the *cyber cafe* gets my vote
