just done the old F on the big kat computer after a major fail! Strange fing
is, is that a friend bought a computer round with an identical problem.
Basically the computer fails to load and you go to the BSOD screen telling
you it's shut down to protect itself and no amount of recovery was possible
as the operating disk is .............on the hard drive :-( Cus im a koool
kat i Do have the O/S disk ( i never leave the kat basket without one!) so
was able to eventually format it.
Well the common denominator here is that we both were on face book and
within hours both computers slowed down to a complete stall!
SO my klever humans , anyone had a similar experience like this or am i just
the most unluckest fluffu pussy this side of the watford gap?

Oh and NO i wasn't looking a young lady kats who were obviously too warm to
keep their fur coats on!

A quick Google search for 'facebook causing computer freeze' brings up:-

http://www.google.co.uk/#hl=en&sclient=psy-ab&q=facebook+causing+computer+freeze&oq=fecebook+causing+computer&aq=0jl&aqi=g-jl1&aql=&gs_l=hp.1.0.0i18i13.2032.12339.0.16573.25.25.0.0.0.0.296.3121.12j10j3.25.0...0.0.Bo5VGDqXuRA&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.,cf.osb&fp=8aed629e7cb27e23&biw=1280&bih=661

Plenty to choose from there.
Personally, I hate Facebook, and the way it tries to entice you to add more
people, like 'I have found someone who is a friend of your second cousin's
milkman, who married a girl that lived in Liverpool, who's sister works in
Tesco's, do you want to add this person as a friend, or, 'let me have a look
in your address book and see if I can find someone else who will be your
friend', etc.

Yes i agree about facebook, im no fan but im using it as a means to an end
at the moment otherwise id not be so inclined to use it but from what ive
seen past 2 months it's mostly people writing drivel like 'GOAL' and 'that
was in'! both extracts from my whatever page they call it! Imean who gives a
fig if someones going to the shops or just got up? ANYWAY just back to my
problem, iwhilst trying to upload a picture or 3 as it turned out the
facebook page changed from normal address to facebook###.com it was after
this happened that my computer slowly ground to a halt and semed really keen
to be able to be connected to the internet and sulked when i pulled out my
dongle STEADY ON GIRLS! and the computer froze forcing a restart and the
same thing happening again untill i shoved my dongle back in oer missus! so
something not right and trying to do a full reinstall was nigh on impossible
but this kat never gives up but set a new record for reinsalling well would
have if it hadn't took over 2 hours to coax the fing to work without
freezing. So basically next internet security isn;t going to be KASPERSKY!
Ive had a full copy of AVG for almost 2 years now and ive never had any
problems on the baby computer so methinks i may renew it and show Crapasky
the bin!

Remember to set up your explorer (no matter which flavour) to delete all of
your browsing history when closed, the other is to block any value added
addons which a page may present , under one guise or another. I wouldn't be
surprised if there was not a 'nasty' hidden in the coding of some of the
pictures.

Yes I know your a old pussy but it always pays to be reminded.

Personally I'm still trying to come to a decision about the big F or not
after the pyrotechnics a couple of weeks ago. Everything appears to be up
and working now but I haven't attempted any updates yet
