British writer Helen Dunmore, born in December 1952,has died of cancer at
64,with obituaries in the Telegraph,Guardian, and her publishers
bloodaxebooks.com.
She was a poet,novelist,short story writer,and columnist.
She represents yet another entry among the "Eminent Elizabethans II",
a category I believe I last evoked on the death of George Michael:
of persons achieving notability within the realms of,
and living lives entirely within the reign of,
Queen Elizabeth II (acceded February 1952).

The World Trade Center towers MUST rise again,
at least as tall as before...or terror has triumphed.
