Lisa,

What he said about the ultrawealthy having insufficient influence.
How does he explain billionaires like George Sorros? Makes me wonder
what this Griffen guy has on his mind.

He apparently didn't attend to the same bullshit channels as you.

The way I read it is that the UltraRich have less influence than they
want.

Human nature ... alas ... never satisfied ...

Or any of them. The Koch brothers have a LONG history of meddling in
politics, though it looks like their stable boy, Scott Walker, might
be recalled. They aren't too happy about it. They're taking it
personally, too.

They want to shift taxation to the help. You know, "The Help," as in
average Americans. Like us. The ones who actually work for a living,
and fight in their pointless wars, and then come back to nothing.

They've taken most. Now they want to take all. Overreach much? Yep,
and there's a shitstorm coming. Wait til "The Help" gets a good look
at Romney.

True, but this is supposed to be a DEMOCRACY.

That's part of it but there's another factor:

However consciously or unconsciously their minions in the 0.00001%
media spend so much time acting in the interests of the rich, i.e.,
Jerry Springerizing the political debate off disparity of wealth, the
0.0000001% aren't aware of their influence.

They think everything is normal when MSM publishers, broadcasters,
Madison Ave.and Hollywood are performing fellatio on the rich.

It's easy to disable popular control of all national economic policy
as clearly stated in the plain language of Art. I, Sec. 8 of the U. S.
Constitution. Just pay your minions in the 0.0001% media to Jerry
Springerize the political debate off disparity of wealth. Pay your
shills to gush hype culture wars, i.e, third trimester abortions, gay
this gay that, "the imPOOORtant flag burner issue, 9/11 changed
EEEEERYthing," etc.
