A Santa Ana man was arrested before midnight Friday by Long Beach Police
on suspicion of killing another man after a fight on an off-ramp of the
605 freeway.

Police arrived at the Carson Street off-ramp of the northbound 605 freeway
at 11:50 p.m. Friday and found that two drivers had gotten out of their
cars and fought on the on-ramp, according to the Long Beach Police
Department.

Witnesses told the police that 29-year-old Duy Tieu of Santa Ana got in
his white Toyota Camry and drove toward the 53-year-old man, who was
standing behind the driver's side door of his white Ford Escort.

The Toyota Camry hit the man and his car, according to police. The man was
pronounced dead at the scene. Police did not know what city the man lived
in. His name is being withheld until officers can speak to his family,
according to police.

Tieu was booked at the Long Beach City Jail on murder charges, according
to police. He's being held on $1 million bail.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact Long Beach Police

Yes, I do. It was issued about 10 years ago and doesn't expire for
another 5. I will need some letters of recommendation when it comes
