My focus is only what is necessary to be a citizen (with few
trivial additions). ID is not necessary, understanding english is
not, intelligence is not necessary, even naturalisation has paths
that have no real requirements except living here long enough. So
anything not necessary to be a citizens needs a very good reason.
California shows the minimum you need is an SSN rather than a
Sacred ID and we can run fair elections with that.

I wouldn't mind if we let imprisonned felons vote.

know someone who genuinely has been unable to obtain voter
ID because of those barriers, posting here is going to do
exactly nothing for him or her. Take part of the time you
