It's being driven by the fact that right-wingnut gun fondlers *want* to be able
to engage in mass shootings.

Rudy displays a personality flaw common to liberals.

"Liberals have a lot of trouble understanding conservatives because
conservatives pay a great deal of attention to moral areas that liberals don't
care much about or may even see as a negative. Because of this, liberals have a
great deal of trouble intellectually understanding the conservative view of the
world...."

Exactly. The next time gun grabbers make serious noise about
banning AR-15s I just might go out and buy one as a symbolic
"in your face". I don't even like AR-15s because I think
they're ugly.

I did something similar before. When Obama tried to ban
M855 5.56 NATO ammo I bought a couple of hundred rounds as
a symbolic protest. I didn't even own a gun that could use it.
It was definitely the antics of the Gun Grabber in Chief that
pushed my into buying it.

Maybe I'll compromise by getting an AR-15 SCR with wooden stock.

Conservatives look back at how much better what was then than what is
now and so don't want to change anything.

Liberals look forward at how much better they hope what will be is
than what is so they expect pretty much constant change.

And what is the only thing in life you can depend on?

Change.

IOW.. Conservatives are driven by facts (It's good as things are now, so
there is no need to change unless it will actually improve things)
Liberals are driven by fantasy (We hope our vision we will make it better)

The real problem with liberals is they never acknowledge their policies made
things worse.. it's always they didn't do ENOUGH to get the result they were
hoping for.. so they continue to double down hoping that this time it will
suddenly be different.

One survival gun like an AR-15 in a disaster that you can use for
multiple tasks is a good thing to have, even if you never use it or like it.

The little AR-7 is a cool gun too but, it's just NOT as versatile and
useful in a survival situation when there's no one coming to rescue you.
The AR-15 will will be better suited if you're without any support but
hey, buy both and then decide when the SHTF.

I'd rather have an AR-7 than nothing at all, I suppose. But if I could
only carry one rifle it would be an AR-15

Odd that you would suggest that Conservatives are in constant fear and
anger when it's the Democrats who think there's a racists behind every
bush and that someone is always out to enslave them or use them.

Meanwhile Democrats are grooming children, burning, looting, aborting
and stealing elections and lying about it all.

You seem to have put the shoe on the wrong foot.

Um, yeah. Look how much better everything is since Biden took office. Food,
fuel, border, Russia, China, stock market, real wages,....

Why are they called "conservatives"? Because they resist change, maybe?

Real wages were rising under Trump until the Democrat governors locked their
states down. All races and ages were taking home more pay and *more purchasing
power* in 2019.

Hispanics are realizing which party wants them miserable and are switching
parties in droves.
