I don't know how you get blood from a stone. If they have no money
left, there's nothing to pay with.
And nobody's interested in investing new money in
severance/termination pay, that's for sure.
I'd not be particlarly interested in investing in the remains of their
franchise operations; if the first half of my investment had to go
into back pay that doesn't even help the ongoing survival of the
enterprise, that would make investment in it become _totally_ idiotic.
The only "victory" you can see is to see the company disappear
entirely, throwing _everyone_ involved out of work.
