*Nearly* tied. I've got four stints, if you want to split hairs. And I
spit out a black widow spider, once.
Ok, short version:
Ate acid off and on from 84-90. Heavily, in 1988. A cop who arrested me
wrongly was killed by kids from L.S.D. (Louisiana School For the Deaf).
Went to San Fran. Got a sheet of some really wild, non-visual stuff.
Stayed up for three days, after eating 10 hits.
Flipped. Did a lot of funny things. Left to go back to Louisiana. Punched
out the windshield. Slapped the wife. Threw two expensive nugget rings
out the window. Threw dreadfully-missed experimental audio tapes out the
window. Destroyed windshield.
Stripped off clothes. Rode down the road on the hood of the jeep
(Bakersfield!). Ran down the side of the road. Still naked, of course.
Started attacking semis. Throwing up gang signs and flipping people off.
Wife calls cops, finally. I snap back a bit when they have their .45s
pointed at me.
Three days later, I'm released. Put on Haldol. Side-effect? Extreme
paranoia. Spend six months on that stuff, and things were much crazier.
Went to Greenwell, and got off of them. POOF. I'm back to normal almost
immediately.
Then, in 1998, I somehow managed to do it again. Hit one cop, bit the
other. Turned into a dinosaur and ate them. Went to the ward. Got out
again. Went right back in. My little brother broke in with a buck knife
and offered to get me out. Escaped one day before I was to be released.
Turned into a lizard woman in the mirror for a split second. Girl got her
head cut off at the uni apartments I had just vacated. Suspected murderer
for the first (but not last) time. Things "happened" to people involved
with me getting kicked out of school. Went back in time a bit (just like
PKD talked about - the empire never ended!).
Then I went to another school, won an award, faculty loved me. Went to
another school. Won a lesser award. Couldn't be bothered with the
faculty. Took over the radio station. Banned for life from said radio
station.
Ran out of school money. Building a stadium for a different university.
Working on a few video game designs.

So Curious Jade wants to know who Chris A is. he is a kid whose daddy
and mommy split up and he went to live with daddy. Daddy played tough
love with the kid, and he began sleeping in his car. The deceased would
check on him while he was working the streets to make certain he was OK.
He became a part of the family, and telephoned me from Kern County
around the same time as Spaulding or Dave was in Kern County. He called
collect, and told me he had flipped out and was going to kill himself.
I couldn't handle it, and so have blocked collect calls from my phone
line.
He knows why, as he moved into our home after the deceased killed

And when they saw the British, with fear their blood thrills;
The savages were camped on the hillsides in war array,

Then the Ghoorkas did the Afghans fiercely attack,
And at every point and turning they were driven back;

And around the ridge or knoll the battle raged for three hours,
And British bullets fell amongst them in showers;
For Captain Kelso brought us his mountain battery,
And sent his shells right into the camp of the enemy,
Then the left of the Afghans was turned, and began to flee.
Meanwhile, on the enemy's strong position Lord Roberts launched an
attack, And from their position they could hardly be driven back
Because the Afghans were hid amongst the woods and hills,
Still with undaunted courage, the British blood thrills.
And the Afghans pressed the British hotly, but they didn't give way,
For the 8th Ghoorkas and the 72nd kept them at bay;
And the mountain guns shells upon them did fire,
Then the 8th Punjaub, bounding up the heights, made them retire.
Then Major White seized a rifle from one of his men and did retire,
And levelled the piece fearlessly and did fire;
And with a steady and well-timed shot
He shot the Afghan leader dead on the spot.
Then the British with a wild cheer dashed, at them,
And on each side around they did them hem;
And at the bayonet charge they drove them down the hill,
And in hundreds they did them kill.
Then in a confused mass they fled down the opposite side of the hill
In hundreds,driven by sheer force sore against their will;
And helter-skelter they did run,
For all their positions were carried and the victory won.
Then on the 8th of August again Lord Roberts' march began
For to fight the rebel Ayoob Khan;
And with an army about seven thousand strong
On his way to Candahar he fearlessly marched along.
And the battle that followed at Candahar was a complete victory,
And Lord Roberts' march to Candahar stands unrivalled in history;
And let's thank God that sent Lord Roberts to conquer Ayoob Khan,
For from that time there's been no more war in Afghanistan.
Success to Lord Roberts; he's a very brave man,
For he conquered the Afghans in Afghanistan,
With an army about seven thousand strong,
