A good summer storm is among my favorite things.
When I was a kid, we'd all stand out on our screened porch and watch
the rain come across the lake.

it takes the roof off, it's a little too strong.

hh stands for his highness, or her highness, depending on
your preference ;) Staples mouse pad because they're about
99 cents and I'm cheap. BTW, the number should have
read 1-800-333-3330. Sorry about that! Free shipping with
orders over $50. They just opened a new store about 2
minutes from me, though, so I won't be doing the shipping
much any more I don't think.

Did you really name your first car? And a '75? Now I need

I'll bet dollars to donuts that you're not a day over 28. Am
I right?

That's it. Is it for sale? Will you sell it? I have a letter from him,
a reply to one I'd written him on. . . what the hell was it, something
to do with litter, I think. It's in my trunk. That had to be way back
in '72/'73. I know I was living in Vermont at the time. Anyhow, I'd love
to hear about how you got him to sign a baseball! When was this,
where, how old were you (hehehe), etc? I'll trade you my autographed
picture of (what the devil is his name, that english guy who did
the game shows...Richard something. He was on Hogan's Heros.

Well, if it comes up on the caller ID as Out of Area, Unknown Name or
Private then the answering machine picks up on ring # 3. If its
someone else, two rings if I have the phone handy.

I can't have anymore kids. But if I would have had a daughter, Darrin

Hee-hee-hee! I *asked* him!

It was at Yankee Stadium & it was a foul ball I got earlier in the game.
He was sitting (with several Secret Service guys, of course) a couple
of boxes down from us. When we saw that he was leaving, I went out
in the hallway & just asked! He was very pleasant - even chatted a bit.

When was this,
>where, how old were you (hehehe), etc?

Hmmm....how old *was* I????
I think it must have been the late 70's....definitely after '75, but
before '79. (I know I was out of High School, but had not yet
graduated from college). So...between 18 & 21.

fun if it's not. Never scary.

Kayleigh Taryn, which was my first choice when I was pregnant with

Very cool!

First car I drove was a 74 Pinto station wagon, puke green in color; it
kind of glowed in the dark <g> First car I owned and could call mine
was a 74 Mazda RX-3 named Sam. Loudest thing on the road until it got
warmed up or was doing better then 40 mph. Woke the neighbors several
times while starting it.

I usually let it go to voice mail and then check it in a few
minutes. If I'm expecting a call from my kids, I'll pick it
up right away and get, "May I speak to Mr or Mrs Junod?" If they
don't know that Mr Junod died in 1977, it's a telemarketer and I
say, "He's dead and she's not interested in your fabulous deal."

No. I had just put a new steering column on a few days before so the steering

driving with the grips.

OK, this leads me to another question:
How do you all drink iced tea?
Sweetened? Sugar or Artificial?
Mix or brewed?
Lemon?

We go thru a ton of the lemon/sugar iced tea mix, but my favorite way to drink
it is sun tea with fresh lemon (lots) and no sweetener of any kind. Lots of
ice! If I have no lemon, I just drink it straight.

Me? TONS of lemon and sweet-n-low.

In fact that is the only thing I like sweet-n-low in -- the saccharine gives
it a nice taste. Y eah, I'm strange! BTW, one of the hardest things to get
used to down here in Texas was ordering tea. Up home, you order tea and you
get a regular sized glass of tea. Order it here, and they bring you
something big enough to wash the car with!

I'm sorta fond of that Iced Tea Lemonade stuff that Country Time

At the Chinese Buffet, I like my iced tea straight up. The food is

Heh heh. I always find this "new" iced coffee craze amusing. When we were kids
my dad always drank iced coffee. If there was coffee in the pot at the end of
the day it went into a jar in the fridge. He drank it over ice at dinner. He's
allergic to tea, but he loved this stuff. If we went out to eat he'd order iced
coffee and almost always had to explain it to the waitress, emphasizing that
she should put the ice in the glass first, before pouring the coffee in, so the
glass wouldn't shatter! Now it's a trendy drink, tho it's usually "dressed up"
some, not black like he liked it. Funny, now that it's easy to find, he doesn't
drink the stuff! (Actually not so funny--had to give it up because of ulcers.)

judging from the way the flier is worded.)

Tickets:
$11 Adults
$8 Senior Citizens
$6 Children (under 12)
Free for Toddlers (Under 3)

$18 2-day Pass
$40 Season Pass

I have never been to this Ren. Kingdom, so I cannot vouch for
it in any way, shape or form........but the pictures sure look
intriguing!!

[And I canNOT believe that nobody has yet mentioned anything
about those Captains' names........you guys must be dozing!!!]
