Hi, Bill. Happy New Year to you, too. It's been, mmm, a decade plus
(maybe 13 years, goin' on) and I'm interested to see that people of
asdz have kept in touch. Not here, so much, but in Yahoo and,
presumably, elsewhere. Facebook? Don't do it myself.
I remember you -- heart surgery-- and the guy with whom you were
always at loggerheads, and Red Dog, and my other favorite guy... It'll
come... Trig. Nice to see you still posting once a year. Think I'll
go over to a Yahoo group I know, FeynmannsFriends or something close,
and do that thing.
Cheers.

That was probably one of the other Bills. I came into the group somewhat
later--late 90s or so.

Some of the people you mentioned are on Yahoo at:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SmoulderingDogZone/

but most of the activity is on Facebook at:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/130509600353863/

However, it's a closed group and won't show up on a search. (Mainly so
people there can carry on like they did on USENET.) Both Red Dog and Trig
are there--I actually got to meet Bryce and Margo last summer. The three
of us converged at the zoo in Omaha. Prolly'll be seeing Margo again in a
couple of weeks.

If you change your mind about Facebook, and want to get on there (you too,
ald, if you're reading this), you can contact me at:

https://www.facebook.com/william.a.wilkinson

and I'll see what I can do.

And I thank you, but I also avoid Facebook like the plague.

Okay. The group consensus is that you'd both be very welcome if you do
decide to show up.

Thanks for that.

The other Bill for whom I evidently mistook you billed himself (!) as
BillBill.

Cheers.

Actually, it was about 100 degrees out.

100˚ out from what? The plain of the ecliptic?
