Sorry to hear of it but I'm surprised that board lasted as long as it
did without going under.

Jim,
Yeah... Me too...It just straggled along for the last six months or
so.It pretty much died after most of us began posting at brothers of
briar. In it's day it really was a great site but times do change...
Best,
D.Perry
What I am surprised at though is by there message it sounds like they
are going to no longer have even an internet sales site either. Oh
well ... it is there loss.

Effective March 6th we have discontinued our e-commerce business.
We'd like to thank all of our customers over the last 10 years for their
business and support.
Over the last several years, we have experienced escalating product
costs due to the decline of the dollar, that combined with the normal
increases in expenses has lead to our decision to focus the company more
on our local market.
In December of 2007 we moved to our new expanded retail location which
now includes a restaurant and cigar bar. The URL knoxcigar.com will
be used for our retail site and should be active by April 15th of this year.
We will continue to accept phone orders in the future and have expanded
our telephone hours to Monday - Thursday 9am until 11pm est and
Friday - Saturday 9am until 12pm est.

I'll second that.
I'll still miss having the site to peruse but I'll survive.
It was nice while it lasted.

I might even make a special trip to Knoxville! That would be a nice
motorcycle ride from Atlanta.
