Well, don't know what more to say, but I ask you to be with the 18 families
who lost someone beloved today, to be with the hundreds of students who had
to live through this tragic massacre. Please just pray and be with us,
Bastian

Soulessness knows no political boundaries. My thoughts and prayers are with you
and the families of those who have suffered.

These are perhaps some of the wisest words I have read concerning this
issue.

Bastian,
My thoughts and prayers are with the victims, the survivors, and the
whole of the German people in this, their time of grieving.

I was in Germany not to long ago and spoke with many about the 9/11
tragedy here in the states. I was overwhelmed by how affected the
German people were by this tragedy and very much appreciated the support
and prayers that emanated from your good country.....I know that I speak
for many Americans that are proud to call the German people our dear
friends. Just as you good people prayed and mourned with us, so too we
now pray and mourn with you. I will keep you, the victims, and those
who have suffered a direct loss from this senseless act of violence in
my prayers and meditations.
Peace,

Prayers and well wishes to the families of the victims of this horrendous
act of a deranged young person. May the German people weather the storm
this may cause.
Cheers,

I just heard about this on the news, Bastian. My prayers go out to
them.

Mike, you're right. Sorry to threadjack, but I see this a lot and I
deal with it myself. People die or end up in prison because they have
no mechanism for dealing with anger. It's true insanity.
I'm not being insensitive, but I'd pray for the boy's soul as well,
and be grateful that most of us have the self-control and conscience
to not do something like that.

Ian,
You are most certainly *not* threadjacking. Your points are right on and
relevant. When I offered prayers for those who have suffered, I included
the boy's family, too.

Another sad, sad day for civilization. Good thoughts and prayers to those
in Germany.

You and yours are in our thoughts and prayers.
Tragic, so senseless, wanton, another wake up call to anger.
Sympathy, empathy, Bastian.
Last Friday my cousin Pam 51 suicided. Another wake up call to anger. Her
happy, upbeat outside concealed the anger inside. Looking back -- we should
have known.
Our thoughts will return to the teachers, students and they will be in our
prayers as will cousin Pam and her family.

Ben - read the first sentence. She was trying to fool herself as well
as everyone else. Her suicide is not your fault, and no one is to
blame. Remember the good things about her.
You and your family are in my prayers.
