Mornin' Michael. Three Nuns in the CAO Meer. BOP Darjeeling in the big
horkin' Mason jar. Dylan's Biograph on the CD player. Sluggin' through
a book on Visual Basic. It was so much easier before I realized the
importance of taking notes!

BTW, great Groucho quote. :)

Morning (it is for me) Pirate Kake in a cob. Pipes dry quickly in the
winter, and I'm being lazy about cleaning. Not one clean latakia pipe at
the moment.... Columbian in the mug.

Ian - notes??? Then ya gotta find the notes when you need them. Try a
highighter. Trust me :-)

Cheryl, you are woefully computer-un-savvy. :) I have a program called
KeyNote, which I use as the biggest post-it note in the world. It's
got one massive note tree in it. One of the nodes is devoted to notes
on my online computer books. (I have a subscription to an online tech
book service.) I just close the window on the book, revealing the note
window, write in my note, and maximize the book window.

In fact, if the book has a table, I just copy the table into KeyNote.
(Sorta.) And what's important is that, since I don't own the book, I
can't refer back to it. So notes are important.

Anyway, why are you trying to discourage me? This is a hard way to
read, but it's the best way to become educated.

Because I'm old enough to have visualized hand-written notes. Or I'm
just being bad today ..... <g>

Phoo.
I was hoping someone was giving away a tin of Dunhill's Early Morning Pipe.
I'm out.

Ah well, 1Q and coffee black...
