afternoon bowl 7/02

Good afternoon regulars and lurkers. I just finished my main meal for
the day. I'm working 4-8 so I fugured lunch was my shot. I pan fried
Lake Erie Perch and made a caprese salad. Mmmmmm !
Now I'm smoking a bowl of PS Bull's Eye in a Northern Briars Regal
bent rhodesian. Diet A&W root beer as the digestif. What's in your
pipe ?

The wife made Peruvian ceviche for lunch and she makes some tasty ceviche.
Chased it with a GBD bulldog full of MacB Mixture flake, diet Mt.Dew on
the side.

I love Peruvian ceviche, Ken. Back in the day I had a favorite haunt
near the Adams Morgan District of Washington D.C. called The Omega.
Their flounder ceviche was limey and spicey hot. It was magnificent !
Their squid boiled in it's ink twern't bad neither. Shoot me her
ceviche recipe, if it's not a secret. Thanks.

She learned it from a Peruvian chef buddy of mine and this is pretty
much it (she uses corvina when it's available but snapper works great
too as does tilapia)

MB Navy Flake in a Kaywoodie dublin. 86 degrees when I got home about
an hour ago. The heat won't last long and we'll be back in the 70s.
A month ago I was running the ellet stove.

I'm sitting outside with the last of a tribute bowl of Firedance Flake,
Cranberry Lime seltzer on the side, listening to the robins and catbird
in the honeysuckle bushes. Been a long day.
